Trawl Nets For Bottom Trawling

Desperate Fishing?
Bottom trawling has both advantage and disadvantage to us humans but are we to choose and think more of our lives than the lives of those who live under the sea and oceans which we kill and devour and serve them on our dining tables?
If an ordinary poor fisherman will do his best and even the very extreme and desperate ways like dynamite fishing just only to get fish to feed his family daily is understandable; but scrapping the marine life beneath the sea through bottom trawling for commercial purposes is like destroying the ecosystem or the life beneath the sea. It is not understandable why they have to scrap all the fishes they could get without replacing what they have get from the seas and oceans whereas they benefitted much of it when they trade and manufacture into profitable products the fishes they have trawl by their huge trawl nets? I guess these bottom trawlers still done nothing to compensate what they have taken away from the seas and oceans where their huge trawl nets where once spread.
The only thing that was done and doing against this kind of fishing called bottom trawling is to ban the trawlersfrom doing their way of fishing or from doing bottom trawling. However, banning will not really stop bottom trawling fishers from stopping to their bottom trawling acts. Of course, if they have benefitted much from this and it is the only means for them to have a living, nothing will hinders them to do bottom trawling way of fishing. I guess, the ban and moratorium is only for high seas bottom trawling and not exactly the entire activity. So, bottom trawling activity is still a hot type of fishing activity for those who want to get more fish in order to get more money out of it. So what’s the point on banning if it is only selective anyway? But of course, if bottom trawling is totally ban, fishing will be back to basics and there would be no sufficient quantity of fresh fishes, shrimps, and other sea foods we could buy at wet markets. Moreover, those who manufacture canned sea foods like sardines, tuna, salmon, etc. may be greatly affected in manufacturing fresh products using freshly fished sea life like fish, shrimps, etc. Not only the sea food manufacturing industry will be affected by a total ban of bottom trawling but also those who use sea food like shrimps on their menus or recipes on restaurants and cafes around the world.
You see it has double effects that are if one continues to do bottom trawling activities, especially on high seas and oceans, the one that will be affected by this activity are of course the living creatures that live in the sea and oceans. Marine life and their ecosystem will greatly and severely devastated if this bottom trawling activity will continue to persist. In other hand, if bottom trawling activities is being stop permanently, we humans are the one who will greatly and severe devastated by the lack and insufficiency of sea foods on our dining tables and on our sea food manufacturing business and food businesses like restaurant. So are we to got veggies then and farm meats if sea foods decline on supply because bottom trawling is permanently out and stop from fishing activity?

Fish Kill is all what we have done when we go fishing either the old way or the new way which is bottom trawling or using trawl nets to caught large quantity of fish, but has our fishing activity gone too greedy as in we have to scrap every possible life forms under the sea or oceans?
Desperate as it gets up to the point another creature is hurt and exploited. Is this kind of fishing you do? Desperation to get more and better quality and quantity of fish is directly proportional to what financial or monetary gains a profit-thinking fisherman is thinking when he do a fish or sea creature’s harassment called bottom trawling. How fishing has has gone this too severe and too desperate and greedy?
This is what commercial fishing called bottom trawling is all about, it scraps what it can scraps on the sea or ocean floor like scrapping precious trees and animal life in the virgin forest and wilderness. Bottom trawling scraps a large percentage of life under the sea which is if done every day, there is no more life that will exist under the sea and oceans, and if that oceans we have no more fish or shrimps or sea foods we could serve on our table. This is sometimes willfully forgotten by bottom trawlers or those who use trawl nets in their fishing activity. You, have you gone fishing lately using a trawl net?
Yap, even ordinary fisherman nowadays already use trawl nets on seas and even on rivers and swamps to scrap fishes or any sea creatures that they could eat to ease their fishing activity. For it is really of course too boring and wasting time doing the old traditional way of fishing, is not it? Thus, many have been tempted to use trawl nets in their fishing activity.
However, there is also a positive side of bottom trawling, that is we consumers have abundant supply of fish, shrimps, crabs, and other sea foods on our dining table whenever we visit the wet market. And also of course those trawlers who trawl fish, shrimps or do trawl fishing or shrimp trawling. You have abundant sea foods on your meal or dining table while them they have abundant profit on their pockets. Both we humans benefit from this commercial fishing or bottom fishing but the sole sufferer of this are the sea creatures that has been harassed and force to be converted into merchants’ profit and sea food meal on everyone’s dining tables. Everyone has been guilty of marine harassment and exploitation for every one took benefits from this, am I right? Who is anyone of you never eat fish or shrimp in his or her entire life?
In deforestation there is reforestation to bring back what we human taken from forest, but what about on bottom trawling or commercial fishing? What trawlers have done to brick back the lives they have taken from the bottom of the sea or ocean?
I guess there is still nothing given back to what the bottom trawlers have taken forcibly on the oceans because there are still no any reports about this matter. Rather, it was just reports how tragic for a fish or sea lives is this kind of human fishing to our oceans and seas and how many now has been using this fishing tactics to generate more quantity of fish and even shrimps.
